3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park

This trip takes you to Queen Elizabeth the second largest National Park in Uganda. On day 1, you travel to Queen Elizabeth national park in the Western Uganda. On day 2, you have a game drive in the park and a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. On day 3, you travel back to Kampala with fond memories of the Uganda Safari .

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

 Meet by a Safari Specialist who will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park this is a 6-7 hour drive. En route you have a brief stop at the Equator for photographs. You have another stopover either in Mbarara at Igongo Cultural Center for lunch then proceed to the Park. Upon arrival in Queen Elizabeth national park, you may have an evening game drive or relax at leisure.

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth Park Wildlife tour

You begin with an early morning game drive after a cup of tea in the northern park at around 6:30 am as this is a good time for the big Cats on their daily hunts. Game that you have chances of seeing includes Lion, Uganda Kob, Leopard, Hyena, and other wildlife. There are also some good bird species that can be seen on the game drive. Later you will return to the lodge for a delicious breakfast and spend the rest of the morning relaxing by the pool or at leisure. Later in the afternoon, after a sumptuous lunch, you will have an exciting launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Game you are likely to see on the shores of the Kazinga Channel include schools of hippopotamus, Buffaloes, and other animals as they cool off. You also have chances of migrant bird species like Terns and Gulls which seasonally congregate on the shores in large flocks. Dinner and overnight at Katara Lodge or Simba Safari Camp.

Day 3: End of Queen Elizabeth Park Tour

After breakfast taken at leisure, you will have another game drive as you drive out of the park; you may get animal and bird species that you may have missed the previous day. Thereafter, you proceed to Kampala with a stopover for lunch and another at the Equator to pick some souvenirs for loved ones back home.
