Day 1 Arrival
On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by our company representative who will transfer you to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay
Day 2 Nairobi – Naro Moru park gate-Met station
After breakfast, you will drive from Nairobi to Naromoru Park Gate for registration and where the hike starts, 2600m from the gate, keep to the park track, which follows the crest of a board ridge between the Northern and Southern Naromoru valleys. The trek ends at Met station 3,000m where dinner and overnight
Day 3: Met Station-Mackinders Camp 5-6 hrs, 1200m ascent
Breakfast ascend to Mackinders camp. The trek runs into a path that reaches the end of the forest belt where you will enter the moorland. This is the vertical bog conditions range from damp to glutinous depending on when it last rained. Continue through until you reach a fork overlooking Teleki Valley to reach Mackinders Camp, 4,200m. Dinner and overnight at Mackinders Camp
Day 4: Mackinders Camp-Point Lenana-Met Station 8-10 hrs, 785m ascent
The normal approach is to start at 2 am in order to reach point Lenana taking about 4 hr walk by sunrise at 6:30am. After sunrise, descend down to Mackinders Camp for breakfast, 2hrs and walk further 4hrs, way back to Met Station for dinner and overnight
Day 5: Met Station/Naromoru/Nairobi 3hrs, 9km, 400m
After breakfast, descend through the rainforest which is 9km to Naromoru Park Gate at 2,600m where you will connect with your transport back to Nairobi
Day 6: Transfer to Samburu National Park 6 hour’s drive
After breakfast early in the morning drive to Samburu. It’s a long day’s drive. On arrival you will have lunch and relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the ldoge
Day 7, 8: Full day game viewing
You will have breakfast and then spend the day exploring the reserve and its varied species of game like the Grevy’s Zebra, the long-necked Gerenuk, among the wildlife that shares this semi-arid habitat. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 9: Samburu – Lake Nakuru 6 hours drive
After breakfast drive past the northern tip of the Aberdare Mountains to descend into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru is located. On arrival you will have lunch, dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 10: Full day Lake Nakuru
After breakfast you will go for a game drive in the park. Lake Nakuru National Park is well known for its pink flamingoes and is also a sanctuary for the endangered rhino and leopards. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 11: Lake Nakuru –Lake Naivasha
After breakfast you will leave Nakuru town and head to Lake Naivasha, you will have lunch at the hotel and in the afternoon take a boat ride to crescent Island to walk among the wildlife in the Island. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 12: Lake Naivasha- Masai Mara
After breakfast you will drive across the Great Rift Valley reaches Kenya’s most famous Game Reserve, Masai Mara, in time for lunch. Spend the rest of the day exploring the rolling hills and plains for a chance to spot black-maned lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, and buffalo along with varied species of hoofed animals. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge
Day 13: Full day game viewing
Breakfast and then go for a full day of game viewing. This park is well known for wildebeest Migration. Mara is home to a breathtaking array of life. The vast grassland plains are scattered with herds of Zebra, Giraffe, Gazelle, and Topi. The Acacia forests abound with Birdlife and Monkeys. Elephants and Buffalo wallow in the wide Musiara Swamp. The Mara and Talek rivers are brimming with Hippos and Crocodiles. Enjoy the game drive and later drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day14: Masai Mara-Nairobi-Departure
After breakfast you will drive back to Nairobi, proceed to the airport for your departure flight.
